Welcome to Yverdon-les-Bains, a well-known Swiss town that has been hosting its traditional basketball tournament since 1974. Since 2018, this historical tournament has taken an international momentum. The organising committee took the opportunity to give it a name: "The Landolt Cup".
The Landolt Cup is becoming a reference in Europe for its quality of reception and organisation. As a proof of that, the winning teams come back very willingly to defend their title. The city's central geography, in Switzerland as well as in Europe, provides an easy access by air (50 minutes away from Geneva airport), by train or, of course, by car. The hotel comfort of the Grand Hôtel and its Thermal Center make Yverdon-les-Bains a destination appreciated by the participants. Between lake and mountains, the quality of life and air make the teams' stay during the tournament an even more pleasant moment.

New format

Since 2022, a new formula has been in place to take the tournament into a new dimension. The proof is in the numbers, with 6 teams competing over 4 days in 9 matches, all to the delight of the spectators. We're sure that the stands in the magnificent Salle des Isles will once again be packed to the rafters for some top-quality sporting entertainment. It's a real treat for our local elite teams, who will be up against some of Europe's finest.

Mini U12 tournament

The Landolt Cup is also about youth and mini basketball. A novelty with the international U12 tournament which took place on the weekend of 27 and 28 May 2023.
After a great event, the comittee decided to organize the 2nd edition of the tournament which will take place the week-end 18th and 19th May, 2024
